CONTEXT
I am Lila, I am 21 years old and I live near Rennes in France. I study at the University of Rennes 2 where I am doing a degree in Plastic Art. For my fifth semester I decided to go on an ERASMUS exchange and I was selected to go to Zielona Gora in Poland. I attend my classes at "Instytut Sztuck Wizualnych".
I have chosen several courses to take this semester, including the multimedia activities course. I really enjoy making videos. These courses have allowed me to deepen my knowledge in video editing. Through these courses I have been able to experiment with new ways of creating videos.

VIDEO EXPLANATION
The theme of this video is "The skin I live in". There is a notion of borders (= limit of a territory, or separating two states. Limit, separation). I decided to address the differences between Poland and France that I encountered during my stay.
I am very happy to have new experiences in a country I knew nothing about until a few months ago. I started to learn a new language very different from the ones I already know. I left my family, my friends, my habits, my country,... For more than 5 months and this is the first time. This video is mainly a summary of memories I made in Poland and other memories in France that make me nostalgic for my country.
Through this video I wanted to transcribe the emotions I felt during these last months.
There is a lot of information in this video. Pictures from France and Poland, music and audio from my friends and family. Polish and French viewers may feel a bit lost. This is what I felt when I arrived in Poland.
The music at the beginning is not very cheerful because I was a bit disoriented when I arrived here. I didn't know anyone, I didn't know this country, it was very difficult to communicate with people who didn't speak the same language as me, I missed my family and friends,...
The music that follows is more joyful. Indeed, I made friends, I visited the country a lot, I took Polish lessons,...
There is a lot of music because I listen to music all the time. It's only French songs because that's what I listen to the most. Here is the list of music used.

I wrote subtitles in Polish for the audios so that the Polish audience would understand them. I also find this interesting because for French viewers it is a very different language even in written form.
